DAY 03 AGRA
Full day guided tour to the world famous Taj Mahal
Their passion for buildings endowed the Mughul rulers with some
of the loveliest buildings in the world - the Taj Mahal a poem
in white marble which took 22 years to build by 20,000 skilled
artisans who inlaid the white marble edifice with precious and
semi precious stones.
Taj Mahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world, an
incomparable monument, is a fine example of the fusion of many
architectural styles. Built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in
1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
Later visit Sikandra, the resting place of the Mughal Emperor
Akbar the Great.

04 AGRA – JAIPUR
Drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur
Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 as
his political capital and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity
of water. It is regarded as Emperor Akbar's crowning architectural
legacy, due to its numerous palaces, halls, and masjids that satisfy
his creative and aesthetic impulses, typical of Mughals. The buildings
of Fatehpur Sikri show a synthesis of various regional schools
of architectural craftsmanship such as Gujarati and Bengali. Influences
from Hindu and Jain architecture are seen hand in hand with Islamic
elements. The building material predominantly used is red sandstone.
You will see some of the graceful buildings including the Jama
Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.

05 JAIPUR
Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of
the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering
with mirrors.
Later, Full day guided tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of
Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour
of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour.
Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city
is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory
& Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the
pink rose residential & business areas. Evening visit to the
famous market of Jaipur for Gemstone and its antique jewellery
at the antique shops
Overnight at Hotel Glitz.

06 JAIPUR – DELHI
Morning drive to Delhi, check in at the hotel upon arrival. Evening
free and on own leisure. Overnight at Hotel Sunstar.

07 DELHI
Morning transfer to Airport / Railway station in time for your
flight/ train.
